English drama for St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School
Recently, Ming Sit and Marcus Tam from 5A performed an English drama for St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School Parent /Teacher Association annual meeting. The name of the drama was ‘The Shoe Stall’. It showed how customers and shoe stall owners try to always get the best bargain!
Marcus Tam: I had acted in dramas, outside school, in Chinese, but this was my the first time that I acted a drama in English. I think the most challenging thing was that I must pronounce every word very clearly in order to let the English Second Language audience know what I was saying.
I think this English drama “The Shoe Stall” was very funny. Although the whole drama had only two actors, it still could attract the attention of the audience! I felt very great that I could participate in this drama and I learnt how to express my emotions and feelings in English!
