F.6 Talk on "Public Speaking Skills"

On April 30, 2008, Mr. Mario George Masher, former Consul-General of South Africa for Hong Kong and Macau, was invited to be the honourable speaker on the topic “Public Speaking Skills” to our S6 boys.

After listening to this 1.5 hours’ talk, students were still eager to ask questions and engage in active discussion with Mr. Masher on topics such as Hong Kong Taxi, and Blood Diamond trade in South Africa.

The talk was designed as part of the preparation for our S6 inter-class debate to be held on May 7, 2008. The motion of their debate is “Should Mass Media play a dominant role in shaping the values of our teenagers.”
