The English Society was founded in 1968.
The society is established to
1.provide opportunities for schoolmates to use English for effective communication.
2.provide an English learning atmosphere in the school and to motivate schoolmates to speak English.
3.arouse schoolmates' interest in western culture and help them realize the interesting aspects of English.
